Five Ounces of Pain is reporting that IFL star Chris “The Polish Hammer” Horodecki is on the verge of signing a contract with Affliction MMA.

Horodecki, a native of London, Ontario, possesses a mixed martial arts record of 12-1. After debuting with TKO in Montreal, Horodecki put his nose to the grindstone and amassed an impressive IFL record of 8-1 with victories over Ryan Schultz, Bart Palaszewski, and Shad Lierley. Horodecki’s sole professional blemish came against Ryan Schultz while battling for the IFL lightweight title.

Horodecki is currently residing in London where he is spliting his time coaching at Xtreme Couture in Toronto while working on the new Team Tompkins gym he is putting together with friends and training partners Mark “The Machine” Hominick and Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout.

While it looks like Horodecki has agreed to terms with Affliction, TKO Xtreme received word a few weeks back that Horodecki also received a very strong offer from the blossuming AFL organization. Horodecki’s deal with Affliction is expected to be finalized in the near future.
