Stout vs. Kelly Slated for UFC 89 in England

TKO Xtreme has learned that Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout will face Paul Kelly at UFC 89 on October 18, 2008 at The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England.
Stout, a native of London, Ontario, possesses a mixed martial arts record of 13-4-1. Stout holds victories over the likes of Per Eklund, Martin Grandmont, Fabio Holanda, Spencer Fisher, and Tyler Jackson. Stout’s most recent outing came in April at UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre II where he dropped an exciting split decision to Rich “No Love” Clementi.
Paul Kelly, a native of England, possesses an unblemished MMA record of 7-0. Kelly holds TKO victories over Nigel Whitear, James Neal, Bruce Davis, and Jordan James. Kelly made his UFC debut in January 2008 at UFC 80: Rapid Fire scoring a unanimous decision over Paul Taylor in what turned out to be the fight of the night.
UFC 89 will be headlined by a middleweight bout featuring Chris “The Crippler” Leben and Michael “The Count” Bisping. not yet. I am in the middle of talking to a couple of their guys for a profile I just did on one of their main stars, Guillaume de Lorenzi. I was going to ask about that match up. May even have one of them on the show soon.

Just spoke to someone from XMMA. He will be on the show this Sunday with a BIG announcement. All I can say for now is, XMMA is going to be on par with TKO based on this news! He may not be able to get into everything, but he can announce at least 1 big signing.
