Horodecki Waiting on the IFL, Focusing on Training

The Fight Network is reporting that IFL star Chris “The Polish Hammer” Horodecki is currently taking a wait-and-see approach while the IFL battles to keep the team-based promotion afloat.

“It sucks having a fight cancelled and having a lot of time between fights, but it happens,” Horodecki said. “Once we find out what’s happening with the league, I’m going to have to decide what’s the best thing for me to do.”

According to the report, Horodecki will focus his efforts on his new position as a trainer at Xtreme Couture in Toronto, Ontario while the IFL figures out what their next move is. Horodecki is also in the process of opening a new facility in London, Ontario named Adrenaline Mixed Martial Arts: Home of Team Tompkins with teammates Mark “The Machine” Hominick and Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout.

“It sucks having a fight canceled and having a lot of time between fights, but it happens,” Horodecki said. “Once we find out what’s happening with the league, I’m going to have to decide what’s the best thing for me to do.”

Zuffa LLC has been active as of late scooping up IFL fighters such as Reese Andy, Rory Markham, Brad Blackburn, and Delson Heleno. If the IFL is to go under, World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) would be an excellent fit for the Canadian lightweight.
