Hardcore Championship Fighting Folds
Sherdog.com is reporting that Keith Crawford has officially announced that the Calgary-based promotion has officially folded. TKO Xtreme caught wind of the news earlier this week and Crawford’s announcement puts an end to the speculation.
Earlier this month, HCF cancelled their May 10th show stating they were in the process of finishing a deal with a potential buyer. The reasons for the show’s undoing weren’t announced but Crawford told Sherdog that both he and Dave Houshiar will continue as MMA promoters with their own respective events.
Over the past year, HCF has solidified itself as one of the nations top promotions running four events and boasting a roster with the likes of Jesse Bongfeldt, Solomon Hutcherson, Joe Riggs, Sean Salmon, Sarah Kaufman, Thomas Schulte, Gegard Mousasi, Aleksander Emelianenko, Dan Bobish, Mike Pyle, Jason Day, David Loiseau, Jason Day, Evangelista Santos, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Antonio “Nino” Schembri, Gideon Ray, Hector Ramirez, Rob MacDonald, and Todd Gouwenberg.
The announcement comes as a real surprise after CEO Keith Crawford was quoted as saying he hoped the potential sale would put HCF second behind the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Surprise??
Crawford has a track record of screwing people and lying to partners. Look at his history…Mike Miles in Alberta, two different kickboxing events, he is banned from TSN, folded APEX, tried to ruin the MFC, Freedom Fight and TKO, now screws his new parnter for alot of coin and folds Hardcore Championship Fighting, by lying to investors, papering houses and screwing fighters.
