just wondering if there would be any discount 4 anyone with experience who wants to train there?

14 Vince { 02.10.08 at 8:36 pm }

I’m actually interested in the Beginner Muay Thai training. I’m considering Xtreme Couture because I also live in Etobicoke and it’d be convenient for me to train there…but the biggest factor in my decision would be the price.

Does anyone know when this message was posted? I mean it says that TKO EXTREME will be open in a few months. So is it open already? If yes I am really interested in joining this club!

22 paul { 04.24.08 at 2:19 am }

the gym should be opening mid may…prices are around $160/month if you buy after may 5th, before that date they are $99/month…it’s a one year contract, you have to pay the first and last month up front and after that you pay monthly.

29 Nitish Bolina { 06.29.08 at 1:40 am }

Im a wrestler, and is looking to become a MMA Fighter and I think its a great oppurtunity for me to take the advantage of the facility that the legend Randy Couture will provide. So please assist me. I want to know about the reasonable charges and it’s exact situation in Toronto.

30 Sean { 08.07.08 at 3:05 pm }

The thing im affraid of is the prices, for a state of the art facility like this you no its gonna be costing a pretty penny. I hope im wrong.

Also whats the chances that a 37 yr old man that has no experience fighting, can turn pro or even fighting in UFC. Just curious friend of mine is thinking he can fight in 3 yrs of training and have a fight in the UFC by the time he is 40 lol

31 Mike { 08.09.08 at 10:56 am }

I doubt your buddy would make it into the UFC, most people start when there around 16-18 and are already fighting by the time they are 20. Most UFC fighters retire after age 30 so his chances of making it are slim to none seeing as he has to compete against all the 19 year olds who are even better that are trying to make it. Best luck to him

32 ERIK MEDINA { 09.06.08 at 6:46 pm }

I’VE READ THE COMMENT ABOUT THE 37 YEAR OLD ‘FRIEND’ TRYING TO GO PRO. IN MY CASE IM A 28 YEAR OLD MAN IM MOVING TO TORONTO FROM CHICAGO TO TRAIN FULLTIME IN MMA, IM IN GOOD SHAPE AND SO FAR I AM 2ND DEGREE W/B IN GRACIE JIU JITSU.WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF MAKING IT TO THE PRO’S?

33 Scott White { 09.06.08 at 7:06 pm }

Never say never. If you’re planning on training full time, I’d say after a few years of hard training you should be pretty well versed and prepared to fight on a professional level.

It just takes time and dedication. The people at your gym (trainers, managers, etc) will be the best people to answer that question after they judge where you are at in your training.

34 Mike Campbell { 09.16.08 at 7:25 pm }

I just moved to Toronto last year, and have been looking for places to train, but have not found to many places that seemed promising. I have little experience, but I am dedicated and have a true passion for the sport. I will be joining the gym, so if anyone is interested in training together let me know. Find me on facebook. I just want to train.

And for the 37 year old. Thats amazing!!! Good luck, hope to see you there.

35 Rich { 10.06.08 at 9:47 am }

I am super pumped about this..but is it true that Alessandro Roman is going too be an instructor? Cause that would suck…

36 InFireBaptize { 06.24.09 at 12:41 pm }

That’s a lot of money, and i doubt this GYM is going to succeed in the expensive city of Toronto where people are holding on to their pennies! for 100$ a month (if in fact the case) i can join a state of the art GYM and have one-one personal trainer.
